DIVAS is a permable web for local artists in Zurich involved in questioning artistic, social and political realms, as well as transforming them from an embodied perspective. DIVAS cultivate artistic exchange and kinship in the field of performing arts in order to find new ways of thinking about culture making and challenging formats of artistic production. It functions as a multifold alter ego and gives a creative framework for those who wanna share their light, their heat, their wetness. DIVAS is a portal opening in connection and it means strength in plurality and difference. As all arts, DIVAS happens in relationships - always DIVAS, never a diva. DIVAS actively questions notions of authorship, collaboration, participation and collectivity. DIVAS play, cause paradox is not there to be resolved.
